Continental

This was a personal project of mine that gained significant attention in the early days of the web for it's innovative use of Flash and story telling. Inspired by Matt Owens' Volume One project, I created short experimental films using Flash and later video that sharpened my creative storytelling abilities. The project went beyond the website to create t-shirts, books, and DVDs. It taught me a lot in terms of design and web development, got my name in nearly every prominent web design blog and a few design annuals, and facilitated many friendships which I still have today.

In 2003, the site won the Grand Prize award presented by May 1st Reboot, a website competition held annually at the time where over a thousand websites redesign and relaunch simutaneously on May 1.
